As an attorney with close to 30 years of experience, Bill Galvano has successfully litigated jury and bench trials in both state and federal courts throughout the United States and maintains an impressive record of results. Bill concentrates his trial practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. His practice also includes assisting clients with government relations and regulatory issues including procurement. In addition, Bill has substantial experience in representing clients in sophisticated commercial and business transactions.
Bill Galvano was elected to the Florida Senate in 2012 after serving 8 years in the Florida House. He served as Majority Leader and in 2018 was chosen by his fellow senators to serve as the President of the Florida Senate for the 2018-2020 term.
Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992, Bill Galvano has also been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Florida Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Manatee County Bar Association (for which he formerly served on the Board of Directors).
