Ms. Leggett-Murphy is an associate with the firm. She brings a diverse background and education to the practice of law. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Psychology, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi. While an undergrad, Ms. Leggett-Murphy was selected to participate in the Disney University College Program and earned a coveted Ducktorate Degree. During a working hiatus as a stay-at-home mom and due to her passion for all things real estate, she became a Florida licensed real estate agent. Ms. Leggett-Murphy, combining her love for psychology, problem solving and the law, became certified as a Florida Supreme Court Mediator in the Spring of 2011 and added mediation practice to her offerings. Ms. Leggett-Murphy has employment experience in both private sector business (negotiating contracts for a large telecom company and performing due diligence for a corporate buy out) and public service (managing the Property Acquisition team at Manatee County) to add to her law practice background. This diverse background of education and experience enhances her abilities as a problem solver and attorney. She currently practices in the areas of Real Estate, Eminent Domain, Land Use, mediation, and Corporate/Business Transactions.
